Winter days feature abundant and light powdery snow.
From February to April we organize here free-ride heli skiing trips for small groups up to 12 people, in a beautiful area surrounded by mountain peaks over 3,600 meters, near the border with Georgia.
We discovered this region for the fi rst time in March 2011, when we have been introduced to a great local team of young and experienced mountain guides and pilots.
In this area you will discover a terrifi c and varied mountain setting: immense glaciers, “Nordmann” fi r forests, open valleys, big couloirs, and 1,500 vertical meters for run on average. The wildlife is everywhere: there may happen to spot Caucasian goats, eagles and even black bears!
A small Lodge located in the middle of a beautiful forest will offer you all the modern comforts.
Stephan, the cook, will welcome you in a careful and accurate atmosphere and prepare for you all the best regional food specialties. Every morning the helicopter pick-up point will be directly at the Lodge.
Generally we fly on French helicopters Alouette III and Lama.
